Q.  As Wyndcorp is a new company does it have any limitations?

A.  No as Wyndcorp has teamed up with Northfleet and Coates Hire to be able to offer any type of Equipment we have all the capabilities needed for any size job.

Q.   Where do i pick up the hire unit from?

A. The hire unit can be picked up from, Karratha, Port Hedland, Newman, Kalgoorlie and Perth and returned to same depot. For an extra fee Wyndcorp can arrange the drop off and pick up of the vehicle to a client’s preferred location.

Q.   How is the vehicle serviced when it’s on long term hire?

A.  On long term hires, the customer may arrange the scheduled servicing at any of our depots and for remote locations we can arrange for servicing to be onsite for a fee.

Q.   What does ‘wet hire’ mean?

A.  Wet hire is bus hire including driver and fuel. The customer has no obligations other than being on time to the pre-arranged pick up point.

Q.   What does ‘dry hire’ mean?

A. Dry hire is like hiring a car. The customer hires the vehicle or equipment only and is responsible for operation the unit as well as the costs of fuel, oil and any damage that occurs. The proposed driver is responsible for ensuring they are appropriately licensed and do the daily checks.

Q.   What do ‘mob’ and ‘demob’ mean?

A.  Mob (mobilisation) is the charge invoiced to the customer when the customer has the vehicle delivered by Wyndcorp to their preferred location rather than pick it up from the depot. Demob (demobilisation) is the same charge but at the end of the hire when the vehicle is being returned. The cost varies depending on the distance, time taken, etc.
